Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued yellow alert in five districts in Kerala tomorrow. It is reported that the state will receive heavy rainfall in the coming five days.
IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in isolated areas in Kerala from 18th June to 21st June.
The IMD has issued warnings to fishermen not to venture into sea as winds in the Kerala-Karnataka coast and Lakshadweep region will experience wind speeds up to 45 km/hour. It could increase up to 55 km/hour at times.
The IMD has announced yellow alerts in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Idukki districts for tomorrow.
