It has been a week since the AI camera started working in Kerala. Drivers in Kerala are feeling the heat of Artificial Intelligence (AI) traffic surveillance camera.
Riding a bike without wearing helmet, traveling without wearing a seat belt, using mobile phone while driving, traveling more than two people on a two-wheeler, over speed and such many other violations will be captured by the camera.
Once the cameras capture the violations, a challan would be mailed to the address of the vehicle’s registered owner. There is, however, a way to know if the camera has captured your vehicle for any violation.
In other case, the vehicle owners can collect information through the official website of Parivahan. The link is as given: https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/index The Parivahan website is available in Malayalam format also.
Once the window is accessed, it would ask for the username and password. On clicking the “Get Challallan Details” button below it, another window would open.
There you can find three options challan number, vehicle number and driving license number. After filling any of the option and the given captcha, the user get the details
By installing mParivahan application on your mobile phone also you can get the details.
Those who have already furnished the Registration Certificate (RC) number could get details on challans by entering the RC number. Others can access the details by entering the vehicle registration number along with the last five digits of chassis number.
