A report said that 133 persons reached Government hospitals with dengue on Wednesday. Till yesterday the total number of dengue cases in the state was 1,168. If the figures of people seeking treatment at private hospitals are also taken into account, then the total number of dengue cases and fever cases will be higher.

There health department has warned that there is a possibility that fever cases might go up in the coming month of July. The department has also suggested that children and elderly people must wear masks. In addition, the health department has said to destroy the sources that lead to breeding of mosquitoes.
