Devotees visiting the Kotiyur Shiva temples have found solace in the generous food donations provided by Seva Bharati. Thousands of devotees are benefiting from this noble initiative, which has been in place for 15 years during the ‘Vaishakhotsavam’ festival season.

Four centers have been aranged for food distribution, namely Kottiyoor Ikkra Temple, Kannavam Seventeenth Mile, Koothuparambu Thokilangadi, and Kunnoth Parambu. Irrespective of caste or religion, people from all sections of society actively participate in Seva Bharati’s food donation program.

Over 200 volunteers tirelessly work day and night at the four donation points, ensuring smooth operations. In addition, as per the request of the devaswom board, Seva Bharati volunteers actively assist in managing the crowds inside the temple during peak days.

The selfless efforts of Seva Bharati have brought immense relief to the devotees, who can now focus on their spiritual journey knowing that their basic needs are being taken care of.
