During a protesting march regarding alleged fake certificates, ABVP members were subjected to an attack at SN College. ABVP had organized a peaceful protest at the college, which was met with aggression from SFI without any prior provocation.
Kalyani Chandran, the ABVP state joint secretary, along with other female activists, suffered physical assault, while Hari Krishanan, an ABVP state committee member, was also targeted by SFI. The dissemination of video footage depicting the acts of violence by SFI has swiftly proliferated across various social media platforms.
The ABVP activists had gathered in the college premises as part of the ABVP’s statewide education bandh. Their protest march aimed to demand the arrest of an SFI leader allegedly involved in fake certificates and other malpractices.
The intolerance towards this issue escalated into a violent clash, resulting in numerous ABVP activists being attacked by SFI members. The circulating video footage clearly depicts SFI members physically assaulting and verbally abusing ABVP members at SN College.
