Kottayam: BJP Yuva Morcha National Secretary, P Shyam Raj, condemned the CITU for assaulting a bus owner, Raj Mohan. His bus was prevented from conducting service and flags of CITU were hoisted on the bus.
Shyam Raj said that the bus is not the family property of CITU goons. It was purchased by an ordinary person who worked hard. The CITU goons assaulted Raj Mohan after he removed the flags from his bus with the backing of a court order. This happens only in Kerala, said the BJP youth leader.
Shyam Raj continued by saying that it seems goons has more authority over the bus than the person who bought it with his own money. He reminded that these same CITU goons have no problem with the government giving salary on installment basis to employees of KSRTC. Instead they assault a bus owner who was employing fifteen workers.
He also questioned the contributions of these labour union leaders to Kerala’s labourers other than buying luxury cars like Cooper, Benz, Audi and parking it in front of their houses.
Shyam Raj warned that if these gang of thugs are not reined in then in the coming future the youth of Kerala will be seen making parotta in tea stalls and mixing cement in states like Tamil Nadu and Gujarat. He also reprimanded the police for not doing anything when the CITU goons assaulted the bus owner Raj Mohan.
The BJP leader added that we must never forget the example of West Bengal, which was ruled by CPI(M) for more than three decades.
