Kasargod: Five people killed and thirteen injured in a road mishap at Uppala Naya bazar. The deceased are natives of Karnataka.
The accident took place while the jeep on the way to Mangaluru hit with the lorry at National Highway. All five in jeep died in the spot. Both vehicles are in Karnataka registration. Injured are admitted to private hospital in Mangaluru. The reason for the accident is not known.
