Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State President, K Surendran, asked the state government and the CPI(M) to stop the media hunt in Kerala. He also said that it is shocking that a MLA of the ruling party publically announced that he will erase the media and media persons.

The BJP leader said that the Pinarayi Vijayan government is trying to turn Kerala into a China.

Surendran said that CPI(M) wants only the pro-government media to function in the state just like how it is done in China. In the latest case of media hunt, the CPI(M) cyber goons have threatened Thiruvananthapuram Press Club President, Radhakrishnan.

He accused Nilambur MLA, PV Anvar, for leading the cyber attack directly. In the name of some online media houses, PV Anvar is trying to curb the press freedom in the state. It is clear that his hatred for the media comes after the media houses brought out his illegal activities in resort construction, black money, etc.

K Surendran added that by each passing day it is becoming clearer that the government is run by black money holders and the mafia.
