COCHIN: In a significant development, the court has delivered its verdict in the case pertaining to the severe act of violence against Professor TJ Joseph, former Head of the Malayalam Department at Newman College Thodupuzha.
The court has pronounced six individuals as guilty for their involvement in the horrific incident, which involved the heinous act of cutting off the professor’s hand. The charges against the accused revolved around blasphemy.
Among the individuals found guilty, the court identified the second accused as Sajal, the third accused as MK Nasar, and the fifth accused as Najeeb. Additionally, Naushad, Mansoor, and Moitheen Kunj were also held accountable for their participation in the crime.
This verdict serves as an important milestone in seeking justice for Professor TJ Joseph and highlights the severity of the offense committed against him.
