NEW DELHI: In a recent development, the Supreme Court has granted conditional bail to Abdul Nassar Madani, a terrorist leader and PDP Chairman who was incarcerated in Bengaluru jail in connection with the Bengaluru serial bomb blasts case.
The bail was approved after Madani sought permission from the court to undergo Ayurvedic treatment in his hometown of Kollam, Kerala.
Under the conditions of the bail, Madani is required to present himself at the nearest police station in Kollam every 15 days. Additionally, the Supreme Court instructed that a report concerning this matter be submitted to the Karnataka Police.
The decision was made by the Supreme Court following his plea for medical treatment.
