THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Kerala CM Oommen Chandy, who passed away early Tuesday, is being brought back to Kerala via a special flight, which has now landed at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. In Bengaluru, a massive gathering bid a final farewell to their beloved Congress leader.
The mortal remains of the esteemed former CM will be taken to his residence in Jagathy, where locals will have the opportunity to pay their last respects to the veteran Congress leader. Following this, Chandy’s body will be available for public viewing at Durbar Hall in the Secretariat. The people of the capital city will also have the chance to pay their tributes to Chandy’s mortal remains at St. George Church in Palayam and at Indira Bhavan, the KPCC headquarters.
Numerous national leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister V. Muraleedharan, and Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan, have expressed their condolences over the demise of the former Kerala CM.
