Thiruvananthapuram: Abdul Nasser Madani reached Kerala yesterday for medical treatment after Supreme Court of India relaxed his bail conditions, said a report. The Chairman of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and accused in Bengaluru bomb blasts had earlier come to Kerala on June 26th for medical treatment and to visit his ailing father.
He was received by party members and family at the international airport in Thiruvananthapuram and left to his hometown in Kollam district, said the report. He will stay with this father for the time being till a decision on his treatment is taken.
The Supreme Court of India relaxed his bail conditions on July 17, which will allow him to stay in Kerala for his treatment. The court ordered that the Bengaluru bomb blasts accused must report to the Station House Officer of the nearest police station once in 15 days, said the report.
Abdul Nasser Madani is the prime accused in the Bengaluru serial blasts in July 25, 2008. Nine bomb blasts in the city killed two persons and injured twenty others.
Before Professor TJ Joseph was attacked by PFI terrorists and his hand chopped off, Madani had made a strong speech against the professor.
