THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a progressive move, the Kerala Public Service Commission (PSC) has decided to provide candidates with an additional option to view their marks in the written exam before the publication of the rank list. This new feature will allow candidates to access the marks they scored in the written examinations conducted by the PSC, simultaneously with the publication of the merit list.
Notably, all candidates who appeared in the written exam, including those who did not make it to the rank list, will be able to view their individual marks. This step aims to empower candidates to conduct a self-evaluation of their performance.
Previously, candidates could only know their marks once the rank list was officially released, and in some cases, this process took a considerable amount of time. However, with the latest decision, the frustration of waiting for extended periods will be eliminated.
The PSC meeting held yesterday resulted in the final decision to make this option available. The marks will be accessible on the candidates’ profiles after standardization.
To view their actual marks, candidates can refer to the standardization report, which will be made available on the PSC website. This provision will apply to candidates who appeared in the Graduate Level Public Primary Examination held in April and May.
The PSC aims to implement this feature by making the profiles accessible from the 27th of this month.
