THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: During a protest march organized by Yuva Morcha to the office of Speaker A. N. Shamseer, State General Secretary K Ganesh strongly criticized the Speaker for making remarks that were perceived as insulting to Hindu beliefs.
Ganesh demanded that Shamseer issue an apology for his comments, which, according to him, have the potential to stoke communal conflict in the nation.
In his statement, Ganesh expressed his belief that Shamseer, as a CPI(M) leader, has failed to uphold the dignity of the Speaker’s post. He stated that the content of Shamseer’s speeches does not align with the qualifications expected from someone holding such a significant position in the assembly.
The Yuva Morcha has taken a stand and urged Shamseer to step down from his role as the Speaker and, in their opinion, act in accordance with his position as a member of the CPI(M). Ganesh emphasized that such behavior only befits someone with a degenerate mindset, and he warned Shamseer to refrain from delivering speeches that incite hatred.
