THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Legislative Assembly has recently implemented stringent restrictions on the utilization of Sabha TV footage across media and social media platforms. Sabha TV, an initiative aimed at fostering a connection between the government and the people, is now subject to specific guidelines to safeguard the government’s stance on various issues discussed within the assembly.

Based on the new regulations, videos from Sabha TV must not be utilized in a manner that questions or challenges the government’s positions on any matters debated in the assembly. However, despite media demands, the Assembly has not yet agreed to reinstate the question and answer session.

In addition, if any content from Sabha TV is used on social media platforms, users are obligated to provide proper credits to Sabha TV. The authorities will be diligently monitoring any instances of misleading content being shared or any videos being taken out of context to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information.

The latest circular released by the Kerala Legislative Assembly contains these essential instructions to maintain transparency and prevent any misuse of Sabha TV’s video content. The aim is to uphold the channel’s purpose as a bridge between the government and the people while ensuring responsible and accurate dissemination of information.
