Thiruvananthapuram: Republican Party leader Nusrat Jahan has spoken out against the Muslim League for raising death slogans against Hindus. She says, “The Muslim League and others along with cyber attackers might be discussing to expel me from Islam. Organizations including the Muslim League may have even issued a ‘fatwa’ (a ruling on a point of Islamic law given by a recognized authority), against me. They don’t mind if they get caught smuggling gold, they don’t mind if girls and boys are molested by Ustads. They won’t throw such people out of the religion. People including the Muslim League are only trying to implement the agenda of abolishing the Uniform Civil Code by taking up the Manipur issue in Kerala.”
She further continues,”In no other state, there is such a demonstration on the issue of Manipur, shouting hateful slogans. Everyone is worried about what is happening in Manipur. However, the protests happening in Kerala regarding this issue is not to solve it. There are good people in Islam. They have no problems with the Hindus or BJP. But they don’t have the guts to say it publicly. How will they say? I have the guts to say this because I have learnt to tell such people who come up to me to get lost and mind their own business. Common Muslims fear the Mahal Committee which come under the authority of Muslim League. If they say anything they will be thrown out of the Mahal and they will be isolated. That is why good Muslims do not react against the anti-Hinduism of the Muslim League and others.”
Showing her displeasure of the ways of Muslim League, Nusrat Jahan says, “If they openly support the BJP, they will not be allowed to perform their children’s nikahs, nor will they allow burials in mosques. Then, how will they raise their voice? I want NIA to investigate the demonstration of Muslim League. There is an agenda behind this. If the Manipur issue is burning in Kerala to eliminate the UCC, then it is in vain. It is for sure that UCC will be implemented in the country. We are confident that if India is ruled by Narendra Modi, the Manipur issue will be resolved and the UCC will be implemented. Muslims are safe in India. BJP always has the support of good Muslims. The culture of India is my culture. When I say all this openly, I am called Sanghi. It is not a problem for me,” said the Republican Party leader Nusrat Jahan.
