THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The entire state of Kerala mourns the loss of a five-year-old girl from Bihar who was abducted, subjected to brutal torture, and tragically killed in Aluva. The young girl’s life was cut short, leaving the community devastated.
The mortal remains of the little girl were placed for public homage at Thaikkattukara school, where she had been a student in Standard One. Heart-wrenching scenes unfolded as people came to pay their final respects, and the homage ceremony lasted for several hours.
The cremation took place at the public crematorium of Keezhmadu Panchayat around 10:30, where people gathered to bid a tearful goodbye to the innocent soul.
In attendance were numerous political leaders, including BJP state president K Surendran, who also paid his last tribute to the young victim.
Expressing his grief, Surendran stated that this was one of the most heinous murders in the history of Kerala.
He further emphasized the need for the police to be more vigilant in maintaining law and order in the state to prevent such tragic incidents from recurring.
