Thiruvananthapuram: Swami Sandeepananda Giri, a pro-communist ‘Swami’ has insulted Hindu Gods on his social media page amidst the controversy and protest against Speaker, AN Shamseer, for anti-Hindu remarks.
The communist leaning Swami Sandeepananda Giri, to gain support of the leftist crowd, has put up a highly derogatory social media post insulting Hindu God and Goddess.
In his post, he recalls an instance in which he was teaching NSS students in Kottayam about the story of how Lord Ganapathi lost his head and how his head was replaced with that of an elephant.
The swami in his post said that during the class a Nair girl told him that all these would not have happened if Goddess Parvathi had locked her bathroom door.
Swami Sandeepananda Giri has also posted the picture of Lord Ganapathi and begins his insulting comment by writing the mantra of Lord Ganapathi. The swami narrates the incident and skillfully includes a Hindu Nair girl in a bid to mock fun of NSS, which has begun protests against the communist government.
Incidentally, the Nair Service Society (NSS) is now organizing mass protests against Shamseer’s anti-Hindu remarks. The police took case against NSS protesters in Thiruvananthapuram for leading a peaceful march chanting mantras to register their protest against the Speaker.
Through the social media post, the swami has insulted Goddess Parvathi and Lord Shiva and twisted the real Puranic story in order to mock the Goddess.
Swami Sandeepananda Giri is a frequent presence at leftists meetings and seminars and takes these opportunities to mock Hindu beliefs and the Sangh Parivar. Surprisingly, his Facebook page says that he is the Chairman of The School of Bhagavad Gita.
There were complaints against the swami for duping a person in the name of Kailash Manosarovar trip. The District Consumer Commission had imposed a fine of Rs.1 lakh on the Swami.
In 2018, a lady shared a face book post ,alleging that Sandeepananda Giri had told her to live together in private. She said that the swami had an affair with her and used to talk with her over the phone for hours.
Another controversy was the mysterious fire at his ashram. Though he blamed the Sangh Parivar behind this incident, the CCTV footage at the ashram was not functioning when the incident occurred.
