Thiruvananthapuram: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has lodged a complaint with the police against the pro-communist Swami Sandeepananda Giri for insulting Hindu Goddess with vulgar post on Facebook. The VHP State Vice President, Adv. Anil Villayil, in his police complaint said that the social media post has hurt the religious sentiments of Hindu community. The case will be investigated by the Mavelikkara police.
The Swami in his FB post has mocked at the origin of Lord Ganapathi in the most derogatory and insulting manner. The complaint says that the FB post creates social unrest and an affront to religious belief. The complainant demands that a case must be charged under IPC Sections 153(a), 153(b), 295, 298, and also under IT Act.
Swami Sandeepananda Giri has insulted and attacked Hindu beliefs and also the Nair community with his single FB post. The VHP has come out strongly against his vulgar comments.
