THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Renowned film and television actor, Kailas Nath (65), passed away due to complications from non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. The actor had been undergoing long-term treatment and breathed his last in a private hospital located in Kochi this evening.
Kailas Nath had an illustrious career in the entertainment industry, having starred in numerous movies and television serials. His contributions to the field garnered admiration from many, including fellow TV actor Seema G Nair, who expressed deep condolences on his demise.
Kailas Nath’s journey in the film world began as an assistant director to Sreekumaran Thambi. Following his education at the Film Institute, where he studied along with renowned personalities like Chiranjeevi, Shankar, Srinath, and Nassar, Kailas made his acting debut in the 1977 film “Sangamam.”
His breakthrough came with the Tamil film “Oru Thalai Ragam,” which brought him into the limelight, attracting numerous opportunities from various filmmakers who sought his talent.
The entertainment industry mourns the loss of this exceptional actor, remembering him for his remarkable performances that left a lasting impact on audiences throughout the years.
