THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government dismissed G Sandeep, the accused in the murder of Dr. Vandana Das.
The State Education Minister, V Siavankutty, announced this evening that the accused, Sandeep, has been terminated from his position. Sandeep was employed as a school teacher at Nedumpana UP School in Kollam.
This action has been taken as part of the disciplinary measures in response to the shocking murder.
On May 10, Sandeep, who had been taken to Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital for a police-conducted medical examination, fatally stabbed house surgeon Dr. Vandana in the presence of law enforcement.
Following an inquiry at the departmental level, he was suspended from his post after being charged with the doctor’s murder.
The education minister stated that Sandeep will not be eligible for government appointments in the future. Previously, the accused had committed the murder while he was under suspension in another case.
