Sreedharan Pillai slams Rahul Gandhi and Pinarayi Vijayan: Says that LDF must withdraw its candidate and work for Rahul

Thiruvananthapuram: BJP State President of Kerala, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, in a hard-hitting and hilarious Facebook post has made fun of the present political drama being unfolded between Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Sreedharan Pillai, while questioning Rahul Gandhi’s performance in Parliament, said that in the last ten years the MP from Amethi had attended only 16 discussions and was not able to raise any questions.

He said that the Congress is hoisting an under-performer on Kerala who happened to maintain his position only because of dynastical politics present in the Congress party. Rahul Gandhi’s fear of failure in Amethi prompted the party to look for a safe seat in the Southern part of the country.

The BJP leader also said that the top leadership of Congress forced the Kerala Congress leaders to request Rahul Gandhi’s candidature from Wayanad to hide the desperation of the party to field the Gandhi scion from a secure seat.

Training his guns on Pinarayi Vijayan, the BJP leader said he understands the disappointment of the Chief Minister because both the communist leader and Rahul Gandhi shared a stage a few months back and vowed to fight against BJP. However, now Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Wayanadu which will dent the prospects of the communist party in a huge way.

He asked the veteran communist leader to withdraw the Left Democratic Front’s candidate in Wayanad and help Rahul Gandhi win the election.

He also questioned the secret pact between the Congress and the Communist party against their common foe, the BJP.

Making fun of Pinarayi Vijayan, the BJP leader said that the communist leader must actually be happy to vote for the CPI(M)’s Prime Ministerial candidate Rahul Gandhi.
