Thiruvananthapuram: Praful Krishnan, the state president of Yuva Morcha, has suggested that the CPI(M) consider altering its name to incorporate “Muslim” within it. He further remarked that in light of the recent ban on PFI, Shamseer has emerged as a substitute. These statements were made during his address at a protest march organized by Yuva Morcha, to the Legislative Assembly. Protest March was inaugurated by BJP State General Secretary P Sudhir.
The Yuva Morcha is intensifying its protest against Speaker AN Shamseer’s anti-Hindu remarks. The president of Yuva Morcha affirmed their unwavering stance, insisting on Shamseer’s resignation and an apology. Presently, the Yuva Morcha is engaging in a peaceful protest. However, the Yuva Morcha President conveyed that they are well-versed in orchestrating more forceful demonstrations, a fact that the Chief Minister, Minister Muhammad Riaz, and Speaker Shamseer should take into consideration.
He said, “They should be ready to follow the etiquette that representatives of the people should follow. The esteemed position held by numerous eminent individuals should not be exploited by someone with a communalist agenda like Shamseer. Kerala has witnessed Saji Cherian’s change in statements and demeanor, yet the absence of a similar transformation in Shamseer’s behavior is widely recognized. Praful Krishna additionally pointed out that within the Communist Party, it is quite apparent that Riaz holds greater importance than Govindan.
