THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: During the ‘En Mann En Makkal’ (My Land My People) campaign event held in Kuzhithurai, Kanyakumari district, the Tamil Nadu state President of BJP, K Annamalai, delivered a vehement criticism directed at Chief Ministers Pinarayi Vijayan of Kerala and Stalin of Tamil Nadu, accusing them of practicing nepotism.

The campaign, which is led by the Tamil Nadu BJP president, recently arrived in Kanyakumari, marking its 19th day. Thousands of enthusiastic participants, including women and children, actively engaged in the procession that commenced from Kaliyikavilai. Notably, the procession took place on Independence Day, with Annamalai and his companions displaying the national flag during the padayatra.

Initiated on July 27th, the padayatra has successfully traversed Kanyakumari district over the course of 19 days, gaining significant momentum as it progresses. This campaign has been generating considerable political fervor in Tamil Nadu, as it aims to cover all constituencies across the state, presenting the achievements of the Narendra Modi government and empowering citizens.

The first phase of the campaign is set to conclude on the 22nd of this month in Tirunelveli, followed by the launch of the second phase next month, starting from Kongu constituencies.

With the scheduled plan to cover all 234 constituencies of Tamil Nadu on foot, the campaign’s journey is expected to finish in Chennai in January.
