Thiruvananthapuram: Amidst continuing insult and degrading of the Hindu communisty, the Kerala Dharmacharya Sabha (KDS) convened at the Amritanandamayi Muth in Thiruvananthapuram.
The meeting was convened over the anti-Hindu remarks made by the Speaker, AN Shamseer. The Dharmacharya Sabha stands for the protection of tradition and the well being of the Hindu community. The KDS was constituted by various Hindu ashrams and prominent monks in Kerala to form an authoritative opinion on all issues comprising the Hindu community.
During the meeting, the chief of the Kollathur Advaitashramam, Swami Chidananda Puri pointed out that the Speaker’s remarks insulting Lord Ganapathi and targeting Hindu religion specifically, without touching on other religions and myths, is not right.
The meeting of the Kerala Dharamacharya Sabha was inaugurated by Swami Shivamrita Chaithanya. Sanyasis, Tantric acharyas, leaders of various Hindu communities and spiritual teachers also took part in the meeting.
