Thiruvananthapuram: The Students Federation of India (SFI) has put out another poster, which insults India.
In the poster, a figure of a man with the head of a cow is shown urinating on the map of India. The poster also says ‘Modified India’.
SFI has been consistently spewing insulting and degrading posters against India and Indian culture in many colleges in Kerala. Most of the posters and writings make fun of Indian culture and Hinduism in the name of fighting communalism.
However, the SFI has been careful not to insult or degrade other religions and they very rarely criticize communalism prevalent in those religions.
Recently, the Speaker of Kerala Assembly, AN Shamseer, publically told a gathering of school students that Lord Ganapathy and Hindu Puranas were myths and that it was hindering the progress of society. He, however, did not speak about the myths and beliefs of other religions.
When Hindu organizations protested against his anti-Hindu remarks, the CPI(M) came out in support of Shamseer. The party secretary also publicly said that Lord Ganapathy is a myth. When asked if Allah is a myth by a journalist, the party secretary said that not all beliefs are myths.
Till date, Shamseer or the communist party have not tendered an apology to the Hindu community for the anti-Hindu remarks.
