The warning has been issued for six districts – Kollam, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kannur. It is forecasted that the mercury could rise by 2 to 5 degree Celsius.

The IMD has forecasted temperature might rise to 36 degree Celsius in Kollam, 35 degree Celsius in Kottayam, 34 degree Celsius in Alappuzha, Kannur, and Pathanamthitta. The capital city might see temperature rising up to 33 degree Celsius.
