CPI(M) State Secretary insults Swami Chidananda Puri

Thiruvananthapuram: In an insult to Hindus of Kerala, the State Secretary of CPI(M) has insulted the seer of Adhvaitha Ashramam and leader of Sabarimala Karma Samithi, Swami Chidananda Puri.

The communist leader, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, said that the Swami is a fake and claims that he is an RSS worker in a saffron robe. The communist party is fuming against the Swami for leading the mass protests to safeguard the traditions at Sabarimala.

Kodiyeri’s statement comes as an insult to the devotees and Hindu community of Kerala. Swami Chidananda Puri is a highly respected spiritual leader and Guru for all class and castes of Hindus. His Adwaitha Ashramam has been in the forefront for spreading Hindu spiritual teachings, charity works, and social harmony.

Swami Chidananda Puri is a great orator and his discourses on Hinduism have been widely circulated on social media.

As the leader of Sabarimala Karma Samithi, the Swami has spearheaded the agitations against the communist government effectively. His striking speeches have rallied the devotees to fight against the unjust government intervention in Hindu religious practices.

The CPI(M) fears a backlash from the Hindu community because of the Sabarimala issue.  The communists have continuously tried to suppress the genuine protests by Ayyappa devotees.
