THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Hareesh Peradi has expressed his support for actors Jayasurya and Krishna Prasad, who criticized Kerala state ministers for their negligence in providing the amount of paddy procured by Supplyco from farmers. While our central government is focusing on supporting farmers, it seems highly unfair that displaying the receipt of a loan given to a farmer is seen as an insult by the government.
Hareesh Peradi questioned how long those who speak the truth will be labeled as ‘Sanghi.’ He extended his support to the farmers through his Facebook post.
Highlighting the incident where ministers displayed the receipt of the loan given to actor Krishna Prasad, Hareesh Peradi remarked that such actions are characteristic of a fascist government. He also pointed out that the government was only able to present a single receipt, raising concerns about the remaining more than twenty-five thousand farmers’ receipts.
He concluded by extending his best wishes to Krishna Prasad in his fight against the fascist government.
