Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that the rainfall in Kerala would intensify in the coming hours. Yellow Alert has been sounded in the three southern districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Alappuzha.
The IMD says that the state will experience heavy rainfall till 7th August. The heavy rainfall can be attributed to the cyclonic storm that has been formed in the Bay of Bengal. Coastal areas could experience high sea waves.
The IMD has also warned the fishermen to remain very cautious.
