Malappuram: Two minor students, who are natives of Tanur, have been arrested for their involvement in a stone-pelting incident targeting the Vande Bharat train. The arrests were made based on an investigation conducted by the Railway Protection Force.
The incident occurred on the 21st of last month when the attackers shattered train windows. As a result of the damage, the train came to a halt at Shornur station but resumed its journey after the broken glass was repaired.
During the interrogation, the students admitted to their involvement in the crime. Today, they are scheduled to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board in Tanur.
