Thiruvananthapuram: When fifteen year old Aadhi Sekhar of Thiruvananthapuram was run over by a car and killed, it was first considered an accident. However, after the police checked the CCTV footage, it was found that Aadhi was hit by the car deliberately by his relative Priyarangjan.
The murder came to light only after Aadhi’s family lodged a complaint to the police. Aadhi was killed by the speeding car on August 30 driven by their relative Priyaranjan. In the CCTV visuals, Priyaranjan is seen waiting in his car while Aadhi comes out from a temple and leaves on his bicycle. The accused then starts his car and rams it into Aadhi.
According to a report, it was Priyaranjan who took Aadhi to hospital and claimed it was an accident.
On further investigation, it was revealed that Aadhi had questioned Priyaranjan for urinating in front of a temple three months ago. This angered the accused and he planned the attack to take revenge.
Priyaranjan, a resident of Nalanchira in Thiruvananthapuram, is on the run. The police have intensified the search for the accused.
