Thiruvananthapuram: According to a report, the Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) leader, PC George, said that it was Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, who had asked the Solar case accused to frame former Chief Minister and Congress leader, Oommen Chandy in a sexual assault case.
According to the report, PC George said that the Solar accused had visited Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan through a mediator named Nandakumar. She then decided to file a sexual complaint against Oommen Chandy after being directed to do so by Pinarayi Vijayan.
George also added that the Solar accused had given him a note mentioning about the allegations and asked him to speak to the media what was on the note. However, he declined to this request and handed the note over to the CBI, said the report
The CBI had given a report that stated that Oommen Chandy was framed in the sexual assault case raised by the accused of the Solar case. The Solar case was instrumental in pulling down the previous UDF government in the state and led to a major win by the LDF led by CPI(M) in the 2016 Legislative Assembly elections.
