THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There will be widespread rain in Kerala today. A yellow alert has been declared in Idukki and Malappuram districts. The IMD has warned that many other parts of Kerala will receive heavy rain.
Prohibition on fishing continues along the Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep coasts.
Central and South Kerala are likely to receive more rain. A warning alert has been issued for hilly regions as well.
It is alerted that rain will continue in the state for the next few days. Rains are intensifying again in Kerala as a cyclone is located over the Madhya Pradesh region.
