Thiruvananthapuram: The Bharatiya Vichara Kendram has expressed its sorrow in the death of senior BJP leader and RSS pracharak, PP Mukundan. Director of Bharatiya Vichara Kendram, R Sanjayan, said that he heard the news of PP Mukundan’s passing away with deep sorrow.
R Sanjayan said that PP Mukundan was instrumental in the growth of RSS and other nationalist organizations. PP Mukundan’s vision based on the Sangh and his natural charming personality made him acceptable to all.
Sanjayan said that RSS work became strong in Kerala only after the Emergency. It was the unique leadership quality of PP Mukundan which paved the foundation of Sangh activities in southern Kerala and gave it a strong mass support. He was able to create relationships with people with social influence and bring them closer to the Sangh.
PP Mukundan’s character was that even those in high positions and an ordinary Swayamsevak could approach him. He was a good listener and because of that he was able to forge deep relationship with anyone.
R Sanjayan also said that PP Mukundan was also attentive to the growth of every Parivar organizations.
Sanjayan also lamented the fact that for the last two-and-a-half to three decades, his extraordinary talents could not be used. That is surely a loss.
