Thiruvananthapuram: The Solar case, which had brought down the former UDF government, is again in the news after CBI submitted its report. In the report, the CBI said that there was conspiracy to implicate former Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, in a sexual assault case. The name of Oommen Chandy is alleged to have been included in the letter given by the Solar case accused.
Former lawyer of the Solar case accused, Feny Balakrishnan, told that Vellapally Natesan asked him to insert a few names in the letter written by the accused.
However, Vellapally Natesan has refuted the allegation and said that Feny Balakrishnan might have received money from someone.
Vellapally then turned his attention to Kerala Congress (B) leader, KB Ganesh Kumar MLA. He accused Ganesh Kumar for having only two desires which are for money and for women. He also stated that if the present LDF government appoints him as Minister, then it would be undermining democracy.
Vellapally Natesan also lamented the fact that Ganesh Kumar is now at the top of the Nair Service Society. Vellapally accused the Pathanampuram MLA of cheating his father and sister and said that he must not be made a Minister. The SNDP General Secretary also warned that if KB Ganesh Kumar is made Minister, the image of the government will be affected.
Natesan also trained his gun at former Home Minister under Oommen Chandy, Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan. He accused Radhakrishnan of using Solar case to attain power. If the conspiracy is investigated more Congress leaders will be caught, said Natesan.
KB Ganesh Kumar is the sole MLA of Kerala Congress (B), which was formed by his late father, R Balakrishnan Pillai. It is alleged that Ganesh Kumar made the Solar case accused to include the name of Oommen Chandy in a letter accusing of sexual exploitation. It was done to bring down the Oommen Chandy government as Ganesh Kumar was not made a Minister when Kerala Congress (B) was part of UDF. At present the Kerala Congress (B) is part of the Left Democratic Front.
