KASARAGOD: It has been reported that Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan walked out of a public event in anger today, September 23rd, after an announcement interrupted his speech. The incident occurred in Kasaragod.

The Chief Minister was in Kasaragod to inaugurate a building belonging to the Bedadka Farmers Service Cooperative Bank Ltd in Kundamkuzhy.
Just before concluding his speech, an announcement was made that provoked Pinarayi Vijayan, leading to his outburst. He angrily questioned whether the announcer was deaf, asking, “Can’t he hear that I am giving a speech?” Following this, Pinarayi rapidly left the stage, leaving his speech incomplete.
The interruption occurred right after the Chief Minister declared the building officially inaugurated. While on stage, Pinarayi announced the inauguration of the building, and just before he could continue, the announcer disclosed the name of the engineer who supervised the construction. This announcement made him angry and prompted him to ask whether the announcer was deaf; couldn’t the announcer hear that the CM was speaking?
This incident highlighted the Chief Minister’s displeasure with the untimely interruption during his address. However, at the same time, several criticized Pinarayi Vijayan’s intolerance and the announcer’s poor timing.
This is not the first time that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has gotten angry during public speeches.
