Kozhikode: After a temporary closure in response to the Nipah virus outbreak in the district, educational institutions are set to reopen tomorrow. However, this reopening comes with certain conditions in place. Officials have made it clear that educational institutions located outside the containment zones will function as usual from Monday onward.
Officials have stated that online learning will remain the mode of instruction for educational institutions within the containment zones. In light of these restrictions, students residing in these containment zones are advised not to attend school physically as a precautionary measure.
District Collector A. Geetha has issued instructions for educational institutions in containment zones to establish online learning facilities to ensure uninterrupted education for their students. Schools reopening will strictly adhere to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of masks and regular sanitization.
