Kozhikode: Educational institutes in Kozhikode have reopened today. Schools across the district have resumed regular operations, except for those located in containment zones. The Kozhikode District Collector confirmed that online classes will continue for students residing in containment areas, ensuring their education remains uninterrupted. The latest update from health authorities stated that all recent samples tested in Kozhikode district returned negative for the Nipah virus. Additionally, as of yesterday, there were no individuals considered to be in the high-risk category.
While welcoming students back to the classroom, authorities have issued a series of instructions aimed at preventing the spread of Nipah. These guidelines are designed to safeguard the health of students, teachers, and staff members.
