Wayanad: Panavally, a region in Wayanad district, finds itself in the grip of fear as residents report the presence of multiple tigers despite the recent capture of a Tiger. The locals, troubled by the ongoing threat, are urging the forest department authorities to devise a lasting solution to the tiger menace.
Just two days ago, the forest department successfully apprehended a tiger that had been causing havoc in Panavally and its adjacent areas for several months. The capture brought relief to the officials, who had been tirelessly working to address the concerns of the local community. The captured tiger had been responsible for the killing of pets and instilling fear by unexpectedly crossing paths with residents.
However, the elation of the forest department’s success is short-lived, as the residents of Panavally insist that the tiger issue is far from resolved. According to them, there are still three tigers in the vicinity, heightening the urgency for a comprehensive and permanent solution.
