Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department has issued a caution regarding the occurrence of intense rainfall in specific locations within the state. An orange alert has been declared in three districts. Additionally, various districts have been placed under a yellow alert. Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta districts are under the orange alert, while several other districts are subject to the yellow alert.
For tomorrow, the IMD has issued yellow alert to the districts including Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Idukki. Residents are urged to exercise caution and stay updated on weather forecasts.
At the same time, if the rain keeps showering in places that have already had a lot of rain recently, there might be landslides and waterlogging. Residents in these areas are strongly advised to take the necessary precautions.
