Israeli man, who belonged to Jewish family that migrated from Kochi, killed in Hamas terrorists’ attack

Thiruvananthapuram: A media reported that a man, who belonged to a Jewish family, which migrated to Israel 70 years ago, has been killed in the brutal terror attack by Hamas. The deceased is Amit Mosath, grandson of Yosi Moran, who hailed from Paravur, Chennamangalam in Kerala.

According to the report, Amit, was serving in the Israeli army as part of that country’s mandatory military service. His grandfather, Yosi Moran, had migrated to Israel in 1950’s, when he was just eight years old and was engaged in agricultural work. Yosi Moran is also the secretary of the Cochin Jewish community living in Israel, said the report.

The report added that Amit Mosath had visited Kochi along with his grandfather Yosi Moran.
