Thiruvananthapuram: Many public functions are being held in Kerala in support of Hamas terrorists and Palestine. Yesterday, Jaamat-e-Islami Hind organized a function at Malappuram, where Palestinian Ambassador, Adnan Abu Alhaija, took part virtually. The Jaamat-e-Islami conducted this function after Bharat vowed full support to Israel in its war against Palestine.
Palestinian Ambassador, Adnan Abu Alhaija, said that the Palestinians have not stopped their fight and asked Bharat for help. He added that Israel betrayed them and said that Palestinians’ aim is to establish a nation of Palestine.
Meanwhile, a Jamaat-e-Islami leader, P Mujeeb Rehman, said that Hamas terrorists are like freedom fighters of Bharat, who fought for the country. He then goes on to compare the Hamas terrorists to Uddham Singh and Bhagat Singh.
The political wing of the banned Popular Front, the SDPI, also organized many public functions to show solidarity with Hamas terrorists and the Palestinians. They organized a public function at Palayam Martyrs Monument.
At Vizhinjam, many Jamaats conducted solidarity prayers for Palestinians. Kozhikode also witnessed many such solidarity functions.
The Hamas terrorists attacked Israel from Gaza border on October 7 through land, air, and sea and killed 1,300 people including women, children, and the elderly. The Hamas also fired around 5000 missiles into Israel before the terrorists entered Israeli land. Reports are emerging about the brutality of the Hamas terrorists perpetrated on innocent civilians including small children.
However, after Israel reacted with air strikes in Gaza and pounded the buildings and hiding places of Hamas, the pro-Palestinian groups in Kerala began protesting against Israeli counter attack.
CPI(M) leaders are also in the forefront in denouncing Israeli air strikes. When former Health Minister, KK Shailaja, referred to Hamas as terrorists, she was severely criticized. Another CPI(M) State Committee Member, M Swaraj, even went to the extent of saying that whatever Hamas does they are still innocent. With this social media post, it is evident that the CPI(M) fully supports the cold blooded murder and kidnappings of innocent civilians by Hamas terrorists.
