Tel Aviv: The forensic examination of dead bodies of Israeli civilians killed by Hamas terrorists on October 7, reveals the extent of cruelty and torture inflicted upon them. The bodies were examined at the National Center of Forensic Medicine in Israel. The forensic team revealed the cruelty and torture suffered by the innocent civilians. The bodies were unable to be identified because most were shattered with bullets, mutilated and burned beyond recognition.
The forensics is trying to identify the bodies of as much as possible by the given samples. More than 1,400 civilians were killed by Hamas terrorists in the attack.
Director of National Center of Forensic Medicine in Israel, Hen Kugel, said he has not seen such barbarity in his 31 years of work in this area. The Hamas terrorists did not shown any mercy to the victims.
He said that there were instances where the terrorists tied up people and burned them alive. He said that one set of burned bodies are that of a male and female in a hugging position and protecting a small child.
According to a report, a Rabbi Israel Weiss, said a pregnant lady’s stomach was cut open and the baby was taken out by Hamas terrorists. Many of the victims were tortured and raped, said the report. He added that he saw babies, women and men beheaded.
The unit head of the genetic identification unit, Nurit Bublil, said more than 500 bodies had been identified out of the hundreds brought to the center since October 7, said a report.
The staff at the center is helped by psychologists and social workers at end of each day to cope up with the trauma of unraveling the cruelty and torture of the victims of Hamas terrorists.
