Thiruvananthapuram: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will carry out a blockade of the state Secretariat in protest against the corruption and the administration failure of the government. The protest will be inaugurated by the BJP National President, JP Nadda. The main aim of the protest is to highlight the government’s failure to prevent and its involvement in corruption, the loot in cooperative sectors, inflation, and the monthly payment controversy involving the Chief Minister’s daughter.
BJP State President, K Surendran, announced that protests will be held across many parts of Kerala demanding the resignation of the Chief Minister. The NDA’s stand is that as the Chief Minister’s involvement is clear in many scams he must resign immediately.
Surendran also announced that from November 10 to 30 campaign meetings will be held at panchayat and regional levels to bring out the mismanagement of the current state government. Two thousand such meetings will be held across Kerala.
In addition to the protest and public meetings the alliance will also organize a foot march ‘Janajagarana’ against the anti-people policies of the government.
