Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala IAS Cadre officer Dr. Raju Narayanaswamy’s book on cyber laws titled ‘Cyber Laws, Crimes, Forensics and Cyber Security: A 1,7,1 Introductory Approach’ was released by Metro Man, E Sreedharan.
Raju Narayanaswamy has structured the book in such a way that it would benefit anyone from a layman to LLM students. This is Swamy’s thirty second book. His notable books include ‘Santhimanthram Muzhangunna Thazhvazhayil’, which won the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and ‘Neelakurinji: Oru Vyazhavattathile Vasantham’ which was awarded Kunjunni Award.
Narayanaswamy had served as District Collector for five districts in Kerala. He was also the Director of College Education, MD of Market Fed, Chairman of Coconut Development Board etc. He was also awarded the ‘Satyendra K Dubey Memorial Award from IIT Kanpur for professional integrity in upholding human values in 2018.
In 2021, Narayanaswamy received a Leonardo da Vinci Fellowship from George Mason University to research the prevention of corruption in intellectual property rights offices. He has published around 200 research papers related to law and technology.
Raju Narayanaswamy has been appointed thirty-six times as the election observer by the Central Government, which is a rare record. He has been known to be a staunch crusader against corruption, which has led to 30 transfers in his thirty two years of service.
