KOLLAM: An attack occurred against RSS members in Karunagappalli, Kollam district, resulting in injuries to three RSS volunteers. The incident took place at Puthiyakavu junction yesterday evening, shortly after the RSS members had attended the RSS route-march in Karunagappalli.

In this anonymous attack, Akshay, Mithun Lal, and Kiran sustained injuries.

The injured individuals were admitted to Karunagappalli Taluk Hospital for treatment. Following the incident, the police initiated an investigation and collected statements from the affected members and their families.

Earlier this month, a house owned by an RSS volunteer was bombed in Thalassery, Kannur district. Shaji Sreedharan, a resident of Kodiyeri in Thalassery, was the target of the attack. His house and a car parked in front of his house were also damaged in the attack. Concerns have been raised regarding the ongoing police investigations, as no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.

Allegations are circulating, suggesting that the continuous attacks on RSS members are a result of the police force’s alleged inability to address the issue in the state.
