Thiruvananthapuram: The NDA has launched a secretariat siege in response to allegations of corruption within the left government. The NDA’s protest involves besieging the secretariat while demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who has been embroiled in corruption allegations. The secretariat siege will be inaugurated by BJP National President JP Nadda today.
The NDA has organized this secretariat siege to condemn the alleged corrupt practices within the left government and to seek justice in the Karuvannur bank fraud case. The siege began at 8 pm last night after an announcement by BJP State President K Surendran, stating that the NDA would stage a protest in front of the secretariat against the CPI(M)’s alleged corruption.
The protest has gained momentum as the ruling party continues to defend the Chief Minister, despite mounting allegations of corruption and the unresolved Karuvannur Bank fraud case. Eminent leaders from the BJP and NDA are actively participating in the protest, with party members surrounding all entrances to the Secretariat.
