Ernakulam: A bomb threat temporarily halted the event attended by Suresh Gopi. The actor was part of the Keralappiravi (Kerala Formation Day) celebration, which also featured the participation of transgenders as part of the promotional activities for the film “Garudan.” The event, organized by the ‘Pratheeksha’ foundation, took place at Amma’s headquarters in Kochi.
As the event was underway, police officers arrived at the venue and informed the attendees about a potential bomb threat. They asked Suresh Gopi and the other participants to leave from the venue for inspection. The program was briefly interrupted but resumed once Suresh Gopi returned following the police inspection. The decision to proceed with the program was made after the venue was thoroughly inspected. The investigation was prompted by reports that the event organizers had received an anonymous phone message warning of a possible explosion.
