Hyderabad: In a recent press release, the Telangana BJP released its third list of 35 candidates set to participate in the State Assembly Elections of 2023. The announcement was made by the national general secretary, Arun Singh, on Thursday.
These candidates have received approval from the Central Election Committee, chaired by national president J.P. Nadda, during a meeting held on Wednesday. Notable figures, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and others, were also present at the meeting.
The candidate list for this round includes a diverse representation, with 14 candidates from the Backward Classes, 11 from the Reddys, five from SCs, three from STs, and one each from the Brahmin and Velama communities.
Prominent candidates securing tickets in this round include state vice president and former MLA NVSS Prabhakar from Uppal, former Ministers Marri Shashidhar Reddy from Sanathnagar, Krishna Yadav from Amberpet, Chittaranjan Das from Jadcherla, P. Babu Mohan from Andole, and K.S. Ratnam from Chevella. The election is on November 30.
